8. HOMEWORK

Homework — Homework — Homework!

At the start of each semester, the teacher will post due dates for assignments. Keep track of the due date for each assignment throughout the semester.

Respect the teacher’s deadlines and turn your work in on time

NOTE: If you have something that prevents you from completing your work on time, contact your teacher and work together to adjust the turn in date. Remember, teachers understand working adults and will work with you.

You have more than one way to turn in your homework assignments

  • D2L Dropbox: You will receive a submission receipt in your MavMail when you turn in your assignments. If you don’t get one, the assignment didn’t submit correctly. Check to find out why and re-submit your assignment.
  • Discussion Board: Sometimes your teacher will want your assignment available for other classmates to view. The discussion board works perfectly for sharing.
  • MavMail: Your teacher may also ask you to send your work as an attachment on a MavMail email. Click the “paper clip” icon at the top of your MavMail screen, go to the folder on your computer containing your homework, and double click it to attach it to your email.
